Keeping Exmouth Food Bank open and safe during the Coronavirus crisis

Keeping Exmouth Food Bank open and safe during the Coronavirus crisisThe good news is that we are still open and have been all the way through the pandemic – we are just doing things differently in order to protect our clients and our volunteers.

Safety and well-being are our primary concern, so we are operating in a socially distanced way. If you need a food parcel email: help@exmouthfoodbank.org.uk or phone: 07749 322291. (We prefer email as sometimes the phone can be very busy!)

Referrals from local agencies will continue as before and food parcels will be delivered to you by volunteer drivers on either a Monday, Wednesday or Friday

If you do not have an address for a delivery you can arrange to come to the  Salvation Army Hall to collect your food parcel on a Monday or Friday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.00pm. We request that only one person comes to collect the food and that a face covering is worn. Please use the front door to the Salvation Army Hall and the hand sanitiser that is provided.

Volunteers working in the Hall remain 2 metres apart and are following recommended COVID-19 Workplace Guidelines. All of our food is quarantined before it is distributed to ensure we maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety in these unprecedented times.
